VEON placed five-year Eurobonds in the amount of 20 billion rubles.

The international telecommunications group Veon (owned by VimpelCom) has placed five-year Eurobonds for 20 billion rubles at 8.125%, the head of the debt capital markets department of VTB Capital Andrey Solovyov told TASS.

VTB Capital co-organized the placement of VEON five-year Eurobonds with a volume of 20 billion rubles and a coupon rate of 8.125% per annum. The book was oversubscribed more than twice, at its peak its volume reached 45 billion rubles, " said Andrey Solovyov.

According to him, the initial yield target was 8.5%, but the significant interest of investors allowed several times to reduce the price targets to 8.375%, then to 8.125-8.25%, the final yield of the issue was 8.125%.
