Vladimir Potapov, CEO at VTB Capital Investment Management, was ranked one of the TOP 3 senior executives of financial asset management companies, according to the TOP 1,000 Russian Managers ranking by Kommersant Publishing House and the Association of Managers. It is the fourth consecutive year that Vladimir Potapov has been a leader in this category. He topped the ranking twice, in 2015 and 2016.
Vladimir Potapov has been in charge of strategy, technology and operations development at VTB Capital Investment Management since 2013. Since he assumed this position, VTB Capital Investment Management’s assets under management increased more than 3,5 times and exceeded RUB 700 bn. Under his leadership, the company became the largest Russian management company for total assets in 2017.
The annual Top 1,000 Russian Managers ranking was first published by Kommersant daily in 1999. The ranking assesses the professionalism of senior executives in the largest Russian companies and identifies leaders in the industries and specific areas of expertise. Specialists working in the market put forward over 5,000 nominees via a poll. The ranking is intended for both the business community and the public at large.
