VTB Capital announces a major strengthening of its international origination function with four new senior hires:
- Raymond O’Leary joins VTB Capital in London as Managing Director, Head of African Origination. Raymond has a wealth of experience in Emerging Markets and joins from Deutsche Bank where his most recent position was as Head of Corporate Finance Africa and Co-Head of CMTS Turkey, Israel and Africa, he was previously Head of Sales and Coverage for Sub-Saharan and South Africa. Before joining Deutsche Bank Raymond held a number of Emerging Markets focused positions at Bankers Trust, BNY Mellon and UBS;
- Ron Golan joins VTB Capital in London as Managing Director with responsibility for originating business from Israel and selected African clients. Ron was previously Global Co-Head of Investment Banking at Renaissance Capital where he was responsible for strategy and business development for Africa and non-Russia new markets. Ron previously spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley in a number of roles including as Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets in Israel, CEE and Sub-Saharan Africa;
- Alvaro Baranda Molina joins VTB Capital in London as Managing Director with responsibility for selected clients across Southern Europe and for working with the Equities department to create bespoke structured equity solutions to clients across geographies. Before joining VTB Capital, Alvaro spent over 10 years at J. P. Morgan where he ran Strategic Equity Derivatives for selected regions;
- Milan Elezovic joins as Managing Director with responsibility for originating business from South Eastern Europe. Milan was most recently at Credit Suisse where he worked for 8 years including as Managing Director, Emerging Markets Group where he was responsible for originating transactions across CEEMEA. Prior to Credit Suisse Milan had Emerging Markets focused roles at Nomura and Morgan Stanley, he is based in London and Vienna.
These new hires follow the September 2016 hiring of Paul Bartlett as Managing Director with responsibility for originating business across a range of international clients.
