VTB Capital has won three awards at the Communicate Magazine Corporate & Financial Awards, among the most respected honours in the international communications industry.

VTB Capital was awarded “Best Meeting” and “Most innovative financial communications” for the unique open debate format of this year’s meeting with leading international investors at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The awards recognise the success of VTB Capital’s meeting with leading investors at the World Economic Forum, which took place in January. The meeting attracted more than 70 representatives of the Russian and international investment community from 21 countries, including the USA, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. This year’s event, "Acknowledging differences, capturing opportunities", encouraged participants to discuss key issues affecting the development of the Russian and global economy.

The meeting proved highly popular with participants. Interest in the event has grown each year as VTB Capital has adapted the format to facilitate the most engaging discussion of global trends.

VTB Capital has organised meetings with investors at the World Economic Forum in Davos since 2012. The meetings are attended by financial market participants whose opinions have a direct impact on the development of business and the global economy, including CEOs of global corporations and heads of major international investment funds.

VTB Capital also received recognition for its annual "RUSSIA CALLING!" Investment Forum, winning the “Best management of investor and analyst relations” accolade.

VTB Capital’s annual flagship Investment Forum "RUSSIA CALLING!" has been organised since 2009. "RUSSIA CALLING!" Forums are landmark events in the international investment calendar and help create fresh perceptions of Russia as well as develop the country’s attractiveness to investors. Direct dialogue between Russian businesses and international investors at the Forum is one of the prerequisites for high performance by domestic companies in global markets. Dialogue also boosts intercultural relations and strengthens Russia's reputation as one of the most important centres of the world economy.

Olga Podoinitsyna, Member of the Board at VTB Capital, said: "Today's business environment requires new approaches to developing business relations in the international market. The fact that VTB Capital’s events have achieved such impressive recognition this year confirms the success of our strategy and the effectiveness of its implementation. Winning these prestigious awards once again demonstrates the competence of our team and the demand for new solutions in corporate communications”.

In 2014, VTB Capital was recognised at the Corporate & Financial Awards for the Best in-house Corporate and Financial Communications Team, and in 2013 VTB Capital’s “RUSSIA CALLING!” Investment Forums were awarded ‘Best Analyst / Investor / Press Meeting’ and ‘Best ongoing communication with overseas investors and / or media’ in the annual Corporate & Financial Awards. Also in 2013, VTB Capital's "RUSSIA CALLING!" Investment Forum won the award for "Best event management" in the IPRA Golden World Awards, the prestigious annual awards of the International Public Relations Association.
