VTB Capital, the Investment Business of VTB Group, Russia’s second largest bank, owns approximately 9.1% of shares in Corporate Commercial Bank AD. The share purchase was part of a structured finance transaction. From the outset, the VTB Capital’s exposure to CCB did not exceed Eur10 million that was subsequently fully hedged.
