VTB Capital has been recognised as the most transparent Russian investment company in Medialogia’s 2013 ranking, holding the top position for the third year running.
VTB Capital scored 76,589 points on Medialogia’s favourable coverage index (FCI). Its nearest rival scored 28,248 points.
Olga Podoinitsyna, Member of the Board at VTB Capital, noted: “A transparent communications policy is one of our top priorities. VTB Capital has consistently held a leading position in media rankings of investment companies, based on both the quantity and quality of its international coverage. This is a testament to the effectiveness of our positioning strategies in both the Russian and international markets. I am confident that VTB Capital’s active participation in the global dialogue is important for raising awareness of investment opportunities in Russia among the international economic community.”
The rankings are calculated by the favourable coverage index (FCI), which assesses quantitative and qualitative factors relating to a company’s media presence. FCI takes into account the influence of the media, the tone of the coverage (i.e. positive or negative) and the media’s audience.
This ranking covers investment companies and brokerage houses operating in Russia. The results were obtained using Medialogia’s media base system, which currently covers more than 16,300 Russian and foreign sources, including TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies and online media. The data was collected on 18 January 2014.
