VTB Capital will host its second annual Investment Forum: New York Session, on 9-11th April 2013.
During the three-day forum in New York leading international and Russian experts will discuss the development of monetary policy in developing economies, long-term perspectives on the Russian economy, and international business prospects, with a particular focus on EMEA markets.
This year, the Forum participants will be addressed by: Alexei Moiseev, Deputy Finance Minister; Tito Cordella, Deputy Chief Economist for Latin America, World Bank; Laurence Kotlikoff, an American economist and professor at Boston University; and Abdullah Yavaz, Member of the Board of the Central Bank of Turkey, as well as other world-class experts.
The Forum program includes panel discussions with government representatives, heads of major global and Russian companies, as well as globally recognized financial experts. This year's Forum will be attended by international and domestic investors, as well as representatives of leading companies from Russia and EMEA.
On 9th April, Forum’s official opening day, two plenary sessions will be held; one on "The monetary policy of emerging markets in the new global reality" and "Russia’s long term fiscal outlook", during which the participants will discuss prospects of the global and Russian economies, as well as other relevant issues.
On 10th April there will be panel sessions on "Metals and Mining: adapting to the new normal" and "Modernizing Russia’s financial markets". In addition, on this day there will be a joint session of VTB Capital Investment Management and the Institutional Investor magazine on “How to make money in Russia today."
The first VTB Capital Investment Forum in New York was held on 17-19 April 2012, and was dedicated to the opening of VTB Capital’s office in the United States and the start of the company’s activities in the U.S. market.
