VTB Capital announces that Nikolay Podguzov, Head of Fixed Income Strategy at VTB Capital, becomes Head of Fixed Income Research. In his new position, Nikolay will be responsible for the overall Fixed Income product that comes across Macro, FI Strategy and Credit segments. Also Petr Grishin, Senior Credit Analyst at VTB Capital, is appointed Head of Macro Research.
Alexey Moiseev who has been the Head of Macroeconomy Analysis at VTB Capital is appointed Deputy Finance Minister of the Russian Federation by the directive of Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of Russia.

Nikolay Podguzov joined VTB Capital in September 2010, and before that he was head of the Fixed Income Strategy Group at Renaissance Capital. He started his investment banking career at Trust Investment Bank as a fixed income strategist. Before that, Nikolay worked three-years at the Ministry of Finance of Russia. During his time as a sell-side analyst, he was consistently ranked by the buy-side for his coverage of Russia’s fixed income strategy. Nikolay holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Moscow Institute for International Relations and a Master’s in applied Physics and Mathematics from St. Petersburg State Technical University.
Petr Grishin joined VTB Capital in September 2010, and before that he was a credit analyst and a head of credit research at Renaissance Capital. Prior to that, Petr was the leading municipal bond researcher at Rosbank and, before its merger with Rosbank, MFK. Petr also has a CFA charter. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Moscow State University and a Master’s degree in Economics from Central European University (Budapest, Hungary).
