VTB Capital wins seven EMEA Finance Achievement Awards, including Best Investment Bank

VTB Capital was ranked as the best investment bank in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2011, according to EMEA Finance magazine. This is the first time that VTB Capital has won this award.

In addition, VTB Capital has won six more EMEA Finance awards in the following categories:

§ Best Private Equity House in CEE

§ Best M&A deal in EMEA: RTS-MICEX merger

§ Best CHF bond: VTB Bank issuer

§ Best sterling bond: Russian Railways’ GBP650 mln issuance

§ Best IPO in CEE: Nomos Bank

§ Best follow-on funding in EMEA: VTB Bank’s USD3.2 bn fund raising

In 2010, VTB Capital won five EMEA Finance awards: "Deal of the Year", "Best sovereign bond in EMEA", "Best IPO in EMEA", "Best structured finance deal in EMEA" and "Best M&A deal in CEE".

The award ceremony will be held in London in June.
