The seventh ceremony of the annual management award by “ARISTOS-2014” was held on 23rd October, 2014. During the ceremony, representatives of the Russian business community, including those from the "TOP-1000 Russian Managers" were given awards. The winners were chosen through the votes.
Olga Podoinitsyna, Member of the Management Board of VTB Capital, was recognised as the "Best Director for Public and Corporate Communications".
Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, opened the award ceremony by stressing the importance and significance of the "TOP-1000 Russian Managers" for identifying "people with high motivation and a great sense of responsibility." Arkady Dvorkovich stated that “the success of Russia and its fast development will primarily depend on the enterprising nature of people who innovate products, provide services, thus making our economy more successful and ensuring that Russia remains competitive in the modern complex world.” He added that “the Russian government supports this award, as well as entrepreneurship, and will do everything possible to ensure that the domestic economy and its drivers are successful and benefit all people.”
This year's ranking from "Kommersant" and Managers Association "Top 1000 Russian Managers" celebrated its 15-year anniversary. This rating reflects the level of professional activities of managers of major Russian companies and identifies the leaders in their respective industries and operations. Since 2006, Olga Podoinitsyna has been leading this rating in the category of financial communications.
In May 2014, Olga became the first representative of a Russian company to win a SABRE Award for outstanding professional achievements - the most prestigious international award in the field of public relations.
