Andrei Kiselev, Deputy Head of Infrastructure Capital and Project Finance at VTB Capital, spoke at the International Economic CIS Business Leaders Forum held on March 13 in Moscow. The event addressed current issues in the transportation, energy, and finance industries.
Andrei Kiselev spoke at the “International transportation corridors and hubs” session, where he discussed legal and financial structuring of public-private partnership (PPP) projects. He noted that a balanced allocation of risk between the state and private investors is one of the key factors in the success of such endeavors.
In his presentation Andrei Kiselev also noted that VTB Capital is a leader in Russian infrastructure investment, and that a number of PPP projects implemented by the company have received various international awards.
Since 2010 the International Economic CIS Business Leaders Forum has brought together government officials, representatives from financial, investment, and manufacturing companies, as well as industry experts. The event provides an opportunity to discuss further plans for integration and the development of joint projects in the CIS.
