VTB Capital has organized the business seminar entitled "The World and Russia in 2012: scenarios and risks", which was held in Moscow on April 27, 2012.
The event was attended by experts from VTB Capital, who gave an overview of the economic situation in Russia and in the world. They also expressed their vision of market dynamics and characteristics of accounting and tax transactions of Russian companies in financial derivatives.
During the seminar, Aleksey Moiseev, Head of Macroeconomy Analysis at VTB Capital spoke on "Opportunities for growth in a stagnating global economy, reliance on domestic financial sector sources of funding, the new monetary policy and a floating exchange rate."
In addition, Neil MacKinnon, Global Macro Strategist at VTB Capital, was a speaker at the seminar. He spoke about the current situation in the leading economies and the possible scenarios of the crisis in the eurozone, as well as prospects for commodity currencies, the U.S. dollar and Euro.
Furthermore, Tatyana Safonova, Senior Manager of Tax and Legal at KPMG, spoke to the business seminar participants about peculiarities of accounting and tax accounting, main principles of IFRS reporting and application of transfer pricing rules to derivatives transactions.
The event was attended by over 60 experts.
