VTB Capital will be hosting the third annual “RUSSIA CALLING!” Investment Forum in Moscow from the 5th through to the 7th of October, 2011. Over the next three days, more than 2000 global business and political leaders will participate in the Forum to discuss ways of encouraging foreign investment, infrastructure development and the macroeconomic situation in Russia.
The VTB Capital Forum is a unique gathering which brings together the complex worlds of politics and business. The Forum aims to help investors make smart decisions about investing in Russia.
In line with tradition, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will open the official program of the Forum on Thursday the 6th of October. During the Forum, executives from major international and Russian companies, as well as key investors, will participate in sessions discussing infrastructure development and capital growth.
The speakers of this year’s Forum include the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Elvira Nabiullina; VTB Bank President and Chairman of the Management Board Andrey Kostin;Deputy Chairman of Russia's Central Bank Alexey Ulyukayev; Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich; Head of Moscow Financial Center taskforce Alexander Voloshin; and Founding Partner of TPG Capital David Bonderman.
The agenda for the first day, 5th October, includes one-on-one meetings between executives of Russian companies and investors.
The 6th of October is the official start of the Forum program and features a plenary session titled: “Russia and the world: The Road to 2020”. Separate panel discussions titled “Growth Paradigm Redefined – Modernizing Capital,” and, “Debottlenecking Expansion – Infrastructure for Tomorrow,” are also due to follow.
The third and final day of the Forum, Friday, 7th October, will be comprised of two roundtables hosted jointly with Euromoney and Forbes magazines.
