Thomson Reuters named VTB Capital #2 ECM bookrunner in Russia/CIS for 2009. The volume of transactions arranged by VTB Capital in 2009 totaled USD 460.82mn. As a bookrunner, VTB Capital participated in 4 issues last year, and the company’s share in this segment amounts to 18.2%.

One of the public offerings co-managed by VTB Capital in 2009, OJSC Magnit (USD 526mn) won the best secondary offering category in the BNE (www.businessneweurope.eu) poll. VTB Capital is also #1 among Eurobond and local bond issue arrangers in the CIS and Eastern Europe, #3 DCM bookrunner in CEEMEA for the year 2009, according to Dealogic.

VTB Capital has become the only Russian investment company to enter the CEEMEA bond issue arrangers rating. Dealogic rates VTB Capital #2 ECM bookrunner in Russia/CIS by volume of ECM deals arranged.
