Moscow, 15 August 2008 - The Investment Business of the VTB Group is today launching its coverage of the Russian market.
VTB Capital’s first research report, “OGKs: the best way to plug in”, about the current situation on Russia’s Energy and Utilities market, was published in English today and is now available on www.vtbcapital.ru. It was authored by the Head of Utilities, Dmitry Skryabin, who is well known in the market as one of the best analysts in the sector. Dmitry has been top rated by the leading international and Russian publications (such as Institutional Investor and RBC).
This Utilities research is the first in a series of reports by VTB’s analysts which will cover all sectors of the Russian market. The Research Department has scheduled reports on the Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Banks and Financial Institutions, Retail & Consumer and Real Estate sectors, as well as on Macro Economy and Investment Strategy. These are to be published in August-September 2008.

He joined VTB from UniCredit Aton where he had been senior equity analyst in Power Utilities since 2005. Prior to that, he occupied the position of planning manager in the Energy Directorship of Evrazholding (Moscow) (2004-05). Previously, Dmitry was a senior equity analyst in Utilities with FINAM Investment Holding in Moscow (2003-04). He began his career in JSC Energosetproject in Moscow as a senior engineer before becoming an economist (2000-03).
